In 1948, when buying readymade pickles, masalas or spices was a far-fetched thought, Our Ajji Smt Kamlabai Bhat, a visionary lady decided to start a small enterprise from her own kitchen. The idea was to sell traditional Maharashtrian essentials such as pickles, spices and masalas made with utmost purity and quality at a reasonable price. This enterprise was named K-Pra , after Keshav Laxmi the presiding deity of the Bhat family.
